We decided to stay at the Jerome Grand hotel and explore the area. While we were there, we had several personal experiences. While getting ready in the room, I(Jamie) heard a loud noise in my head that sounded like someone had turned a radio up on full blast to a static station-I grabbed my ears and kneeled to the ground because it was so intense and painful. I asked Karl if he heard it and he said no. It last for several minutes and didn’t fully stop until they left the hotel. Since then, nothing like that has ever happened, even when we stayed in that hotel on subsequent trips. That night I also had my hair pulled twice within a few minutes of each other. At 3am, Karl and I woke up to do some EVP work while the hotel was quiet. I stayed in the room and Karl went up to the 3rd floor hallway. Karl heard nothing audible while on the floor but upon review of the recording we heard a vacuum. You could hear the vacuum going up and down the hallway, getting further and then closer to where Karl was sitting and even it bumping into the walls! Unfortunately, that recording was saved on Karl’s phone and the phone's motherboard crashed and we weren’t able to retrieve any recordings, so we lost that evidence.
A hot spot in Jerome is the old abandoned high school. It now houses several art studios, but several rooms are still vacant. We went to the school around 1am so it was quiet with no cars in the parking lot and no one in the building. I went to the basement floor to EVP and Karl sat in the stairwell between the 2nd and 3rd floor so we wouldn’t contaminate each other’s recording. Karl was silent in the stairwell for some time and during that he recorded this class A EVP:

We have done a lot of research on the high school: we have gone through class photos, teachers, birth and death records for the time the high school was in use, and we have not been able to find a person named “Contessa.” Who the spirit voice was referring to is a mystery we hope we can solve someday.
We conducted an experiment in our room. We spread baby powder on the dresser and placed a toy car on top of it, since there are numerous claims of objects getting moved in the hotel. We set this up right after we got into our hotel room and check it before we went to bed, and nothing had been moved. We got up before dawn to go back and investigate the cemetery. We didn’t check it when we got back to our room around 8am. We laid down for a quick nap before checking out and when we went to clean it up, we noticed that the car had been moved! The first picture is right after we just up the car, and the 2nd is the next morning when we noticed it had been moved. (we did try and debunk this but the dresser was in a place where we wouldn’t have bumped it, and there were no fans or a/c going in the room since it was winter)
Also, we did several EVP’s in our room and this was the clearest response to a direct question that we got:
